PreK+
Our PreK+ program is designed for children to engage with sensory materials, practical life challenges, and foundational math and language activities. We expand our curriculum to include geography, science, art, additional languages, and literacy. In a warm, supportive environment, children develop strong character and virtuous habits, guided by caring teachers who help them thrive.
Our teachers design activities tailored to each child’s interests, using developmentally appropriate methods to enhance academic skills, social competencies, and a love for learning. A key goal is to prepare children with the skills needed for a smooth transition to Kindergarten.
Kindergarten
Our Kindergarten program is designed to build on foundational skills in a dynamic and engaging environment. Children explore a variety of subjects, including math, language arts, science, geography, and art, while developing strong social skills and emotional growth. We focus on fostering curiosity, problem-solving, and critical thinking, ensuring each child’s academic, social, and emotional needs are met.
Through hands-on activities and individualized instruction, our teachers create a supportive and encouraging environment where children can thrive. The program emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and responsibility, while also preparing children for future academic success. Our goal is to equip students with the skills, confidence, and independence they need for a successful transition to first grade.
Language and Literacy Development
Children develop communication skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—through active encouragement from teachers. We help expand vocabulary and language fluency by prompting children to talk about their experiences, describe play, express ideas, and engage in activities like calendar time, storytelling, and dramatic play.
Our print-rich classroom supports letter recognition, print awareness, and communication skills. Children regularly write or dictate stories, using words and pictures to understand the purpose of writing and express themselves as artists.
The Arts
Children need time and materials to explore and express their ideas through art. Regularly, they use crayons, pencils, paints, clay, dough, scissors, and glue, experimenting with different combinations to develop skills and creativity.
We also set aside time for singing, movement games, chants, and creative dance, encouraging children to engage with music and rhythms that promote movement, balance, strength, and flexibility.
History/Science and Technology
Children's natural curiosity is fostered as they ask questions and seek answers. They observe, discuss, compare, and organize their findings while solving problems and making decisions. Our curriculum encourages exploration of living and non-living things, including comparisons between humans, animals, plants, and other life forms.
Math
Children explore math through hands-on activities that build a strong foundation in concepts like numbers, estimation, measurement, patterns, relationships, geometry, and spatial awareness, setting the stage for symbolic understanding.
Health / Physical Development
Active play helps build self-confidence, body awareness, strength, and coordination. Daily use of tools enhances finger dexterity and grasp-and-release skills, while routines for hand washing and safety promote independence and self-help.
